Teachers:
On this page I plan to post some of the project ideas I used in my classroom.  These are tried and true!  The book projects listed was really an ongoing process.  I sent the letter home early in October and from October through May, the students were responsible to read one chapter book a month.  They then presented their projects on the assigned date.  Students were graded on presentation, neatness, and knowledge of their book.  They seemed to enjoy this activity in lieu of writing a book report, and it was a lot more interesting for me also!
